Our independence and experience ensures that we have the most comprehensive directory of hauliers dedicated to working for P.F.S.
We work with both the largest container hauliers in the country but crucially too, some small intimate companies similar to ourselves where service excels and thus the percentage of delivery failures is very low.
It is our strict policy to ensure that every import container is pre-booked for delivery (where possible) prior to vessel arrival and clearance through customs and port health, so to ensure that Quay Rental and Line Demurrage charges are not a consideration.
A very large proportion of our cargo is devanned at warehouses and delivered on Tautliners (also known as Curtain Sided Vehicles) and Flat Bed Trailers.
International Road Haulage is a frequent aspect of our business too. We regularly arrange Tautliner deliveries to and from the Benelux countries, Germany, and Eastern Europe.
An example of something different; we collected a shippers own container, stuffed the container in Surrey, and delivered it to the port of Antwerp for swift shipment to Africa.
